NFL 2020 Other Teams Offseason
#41

S Jordan Lucas signs with the Bears. 1 year, $1M.

Unfortunately this won't positively effect the Chiefs compensatory cap situation.

Panthers are set to release QB and 2015 MVP Cam Newton

This was an inevitability once the Panthers signed Teddy Bridgewater. High probability he'll end up in New England, Los Angeles, or Las Vegas, so this could be of bigly importance for the AFC West and/or AFC playoff picture.

As someone who has watched/been tortured by Cam for years, the healthy version of him truly is superhuman.  If he gets back to that, look the fuck out.  That said, it seems unlikely he's gonna get back to that.

So you are saying we should sign him to a way below market value 2 year deal, rehab him for the first and trade him before the 2nd? Sounds good.

Pre-Mahomes under Andy Reid, this would have been a pretty safe bet.

Rams eat a bunch more dead money to send brandin cooks and a 4th round pick to the texans for a 2nd round pick.

The texans got david johnson and Brandin cooks for DeAndre hopkins basically. And will be paying those 2 guys more than Hopkins wanted.
