Panthers are set to release QB and 2015 MVP Cam Newton

This was an inevitability once the Panthers signed Teddy Bridgewater. High probability he'll end up in New England, Los Angeles, or Las Vegas, so this could be of bigly importance for the AFC West and/or AFC playoff picture.

As someone who has watched/been tortured by Cam for years, the healthy version of him truly is superhuman.  If he gets back to that, look the fuck out.  That said, it seems unlikely he's gonna get back to that.

Pre-Mahomes under Andy Reid, this would have been a pretty safe bet.
