That is funny, but this one is way different than Mack.  I've seen a couple of talking heads today sincerely call AB a "genius" for orchestrating this move, which is rumored to be what he wanted originally: a trade to the Patriots.  I'm not inclined to give him the genius title, but we're definitely in "crazy like a fox" territory for sure.

A couple?

Why not just call Tony Gonzalaz out by name?  Of COURSE he'd admire AB's actions.  Tony is a douchebag.

That being said, AB made the Raiders AND Jon Gruden his bitch.  It couldn't have happened to a better team, but I'd hate to see a precedent set.  This will change how GM's approach contracts and trades if others emulate it... and they will.  Because it worked.

Oh, I didn't see Tony, but that's funny.  Of course he would.  I think it was Phil Simms, who's also an asshole.

EDIT: Might have been Boomer. They both suck.

If he thought the Steelers catered too much to Roethlisberger what does he think the pats do for Brady? His initial crazy in pit hasn't gone away. He's still insane.

There's a big difference.  Pretty much every former steeler is like "Hey, Ben is a shitty leader".

Nobody, ever, says that about Brady.  Plus Belichick is KNOWN for saying shit like "That's a pop warner throw!" To brady when he misses throws and they watch film.  They're NOT treated the same.

I'm not sure, but DC's passionate hatred for TG goes back to his days playing here.

I still don't think we appreciate DC's playing days here enough.

"It made my career to come here. It really did," Gonzalez said. "Nothing against Kansas City -- I was there 12 years, but only three playoff games. But when I got to Atlanta, it's like all of a sudden now you're part of this winning organization."
