2020 Schedule - DallasChief - 05-07-2020

I heard today that it's expected every team's first four games will be non-conference to make it easier if they have to cancel them.

Damn.  That's the AFC West/NFC South slate of games, in which I am HEAVILY invested.

Makes sense. They already try to push the division games later in the season.

RE: 2020 Schedule - asskickingboots - 05-07-2020

Here's the supposed leaked schedule I have seen.  No idea the veracity of this.

1 Vs HOU TNF
2 @ DEN 4 CBS
3 @ BUF 1 CBS
4 Vs LV 1 CBS
5 @ BAL SNF
6 Vs ATL 1 FOX
7 Vs LAC 1 CBS
8 @ NO 4 CBS
9 Vs NE SNF
10 BYE
11 @ LAC TNF
12 @ MIA 1 CBS
13 Vs DEN MNF
14 @ TB 4 CBS
15 Vs CAR 1 FOX
16 Vs NYJ 1 CBS
17 @ LV 1 CBS

I prefer a Thursday opening like this,, it's like a mini bye week towards week 2. Week 10 bye sounds good too.

EDIT: Now that I've taken a closer look... Two TNF games? I have my doubts.

Quick Thoughts
Guess we do have 2 Thursday Night games. I'm fine with this, especially since the first one is essentially a benefit of winning a SB, getting an opening week home game followed with a mini-bye heading into week 2.

4 out of 5 road games from weeks 11 to 15. That's not doing us any favors.

One of our SNF appearances is late season and could get flexed away. Then again, we could always get flexed back in @Saints or @Buccs

5 true primetime games, only 2 at Arrowhead. Do the schedulers forget that Arrowhead is one of the best atmospheres imaginable, or are they hoping for an amped up road crowd helping an upset?

5 more afternoon games, many will be the featured game that week, so we'll be on national TV a lot.

Looks like a relatively tough schedule, but I've been told that by strength of schedule it's only the 18th hardest

First Vegas game for the Chiefs is Nov 22nd

Buffalo on a short week is a rough pull. Good defense, could be some trouble.

Getting a mini-bye before traveling to the Broncos, awesome!

Full bye week before longest road stretch and specifically the road game vs. the Raiders.

Vendor Inquiries
Allegiant Stadium is now accepting proposals for pest control services. Interested suppliers can sign up here.

I was browsing for tickets to the Chiefs/Raiders game and saw this on the stadium site. I guess they will keep Raider fans out?

The prices for tickets there are ridiculous!  I will wait until later in the season and hope they go down.

The casinos have probably bought up all the season tickets to give to high rollers.
