Talentwise this guy is miles above anyone who's played QB for the chiefs.  I mean the best QB KC has had over the past 40- years is a 500 year old Joe Montana, Trent Green, or Alex Smith.

It's crazy.  It's another LEAGUE of talent.  Guys like Mahomes play for the teams that break my heart.  Until now.

Also, Mahomes shares a verbal tick of mine where he frequently starts a response with "Yeah, I mean..."  It really annoys me, because it's something I DO that annoys me about myself.

I've been making a conscious effort to replace "Uh" from the beginning of most responses with "Well". I've been hit or miss, but it certainly sounds a lot better when I remember.

But yes, I've never actually understood the feeling of having a generational QB. I had no idea. I'd normally feel pretty damn good about an 8-1 start, but not like this. It's Christmas every day!

This having a generational top-tier franchise quarterback is FUUUUNN.

I haven't been able to figure it out, but would also love for the answer to this question to be "yes."  If anybody knows, help us out.

My guess is, whoever built this board will need to contact the MyBB people to figure out how to implement a plug-in for embedding twitter images.

RE: OFFICIAL PATRICK MAHOMES Thread - ChiefsChick23 - 11-11-2018

A guy goes to the Chiefs game, and he's way up in the highest part of Section 330. While the game is packed, he notices on a beer run that there's an empty seat down in 123 well into the 2nd quarter.

At halftime, he decides to move down to the empty seat. The man in the seat next to it informs the guy that the empty seat belongs to his wife, but it's okay, as his wife had recently passed away and the seat was now empty.

The guy says, "Wow, these are pretty good seats, you couldn't get anyone else in your family to come to the game with you?"

"Nah," the man says, "They're all at the funeral."

Just to make sure no one freaks out about the "SI cover curse", Michael Jordan was on the cover 1.7 million times, give or take 1.699,950 times, and he still had a pretty okay career.

Okay, he was on there 50 times, which was more than anybody else, but my point stands.
