I feel vindicated - tyecopeland - 09-29-2017

Everything I saw in week 1 besides the 2 deep throws.

Congratulations.

QBR is bullshit. Rivers had a better QBR than Smith last week.

There are quite a few other stats in that article indicating the point besides qbr.

Like wins and losses?

Tim Tebow went 8-4 as a strating qb one year including beating KC and a playoff victory. Not sure how win loss fits any of the narrative that i brought up or the point of this article.

I'm not sure why you have this unreasonable loyalty to alex smith when pretty much everyone was ready to run him out before the season started. Are you all so blinded by a few good throws and beating NE? We've done that before and yet there were calls for Mahommes already. Will it eventually wear off or will you staunchly defend smith for the rest of the season?

Is 155 yards passing against SD really worth being this naive? Tell me what you saw in those 155 yards because I didnt see it. I've seen the same player in all 3 games

I saw Andy Reid sitting on a 14-point lead most of that game and calling short pass plays.

I saw the Chiefs doing what was necessary to win. Smith plays one position so I guess the other 21 guys had something to do with it.

Why cant you just enjoy it.  This is the same as political polls.  The numbers can be twisted, Its all on how you look at them.

RE: I feel vindicated - tyecopeland - 10-01-2017

I should just enjoy watching mediocre qb play. I should just be satisfied because we are winning. I shouldn't hope for improvements because we've won we're the best thing ever.

I've enjoyed the wins. And I've came away from those wins thinking that we need more from the passing game consistently.

3rd down passes that don't go far enough for a first down isn't doing what is necessary to win. We were bailed out in the SD game by the defense not that our offense played well.

You guys are defending 155 yards, 7 passing first downs and 4.7 yards per pass like he played a perfect game.
