It will be nice if/when the Lakers win it.... its much needed, but the Magic are here to stay, they will be a threat for a while

Ya know, Dwight Howard is a good player but after watching this series, that's all I have to say about him .......... he's "good", not great. Sorry but great players dominate and I haven't seen that from him. Given he's been better at free throws and has worked on that, he hasn't scored much. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is right. He needs a post move or a inside the paint type of move or shot to be great. All Dwight is, is a shot blocker and rebounder, thats it, everything else is nothing but layups or dunks. When he develops something like that then I'll label him great, but until then he's just good. Other then that, GO LAKERS!!!! LETS WRAP THIS UP TONIGHT BABY!!!! :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing: :dancing:

ya but he isn't the full offense guy yet, when he develops his offense like he has his defense he will be unstoppbale.

4-1 so far all without Gasol playing. 2 of the games have been in OT, so we have some improvements to make. Overall solid start for L.A

Would have been a different outcome if Kobe hit that 3 at the end to tie it. Regular season NBA is nothing. If you position yourself in the top 8 your fine. The Lakers will be there when it all matters. Lakers may have "sucked" last night but when the playoffs start we know who really sucks...

It might have been a different outcome if he had made that 3 but he didn't. The Mavericks were without two starters. Might have been a blow out if Butler and Dampier had played.

I'm not taking away that it was a good win for Dallas, I'm just saying winning in February is like winning in December, it doesn't really matter. There are no statement games until the playoffs start

I hate the Lakers but if Kobe isnt the best player in the league than I dont know who is. Kobe has taken over these playoffs while King James is at home watching for the second straight year.
I hate to say it, but it looks like repeat for the Lakers if the Suns or Celtics dont wake up and have something to say about it.

If Kobe's mom was banging Ron Artest I doubt he'd be playing well. :teeth:
