Well the Lakers are 23-5 and they will be taking on Boston on Christmas.
The Celts are looking just as good as last season if not better, they have won 19 in a row and will try to make it 20 when they travel to L.A. tomorrow

Well the Lakers broke Boston's streak yesterday on a few Pau Gasol shots in the 4th quarter. It was a very entertaining game.

The Lakers get a good win against the Clips tonight. Kobe got himself a triple double but youngster Bynum got the glory with his career high 42 points. Last 3 players to score 40 points for Lakers (Kobe, Shaq, and now Bynum)

The Los Angeles Lakers have traded away 6'10 Vladimir Radmanovic for the Charlotte Bobcats SF Adam Morrison and PG Shannon Brown. Morrison who has struggled in his 2nd year in the NBA will look for a fresh start.

Great trade for LA, they unloaded a huge contract by getting rid of Vlad. I also read that LA traded Chris Mihm to the Memphis Grizzlies for an undisclosed conditional 2nd Round pick. From what I've read too about the trade deadline, a lot of sites have LA being the "Winners" of this in a sense. They unloaded contracts and saved money and not to mention, not a single team did a thing to try and catch up to the Lakers. Noone did a thing, so their take is that LA basically is still the frontrunner even with Bynum out till at least the playoffs. Jerry Beuss and Mitch Kupchek, GREAT JOB BOYS!!!
