I have tried to keep an open mind about Cassel, but the more I watch him play the less confidence I have in him. Another thing that has bothered me so far is Weis' playcalling. But it's still early so I am going to hold off judgement on that.

Dude.... are you rocking a Michael Husted jersey for an avatar as a protest to Cassel?

I voiced my concern that this would happen back in the off-season.

Well, it is what it is. Nothing we can do about it. I mean, the dumbasses at 1 Arrowhead Drive think they know it all.

Oh well.

I hate this trend (doubly b/c I have Charles in fantasy), but you can't argue with 2-0. Until we start losing I do not expect them to budge on this. There is something to be said for ball security and I am not surprised that Charles doesn't get the call late, but he should be starting and getting the lionshare of carries.

I can not see what kind of direction this offense is trying to take and what Weis is trying to do. All I am seeing so far is a healthy load of Thomas Jones with a sprinkle of Matt Cassel farting all over himself. What is this logic!?!

Signature made by Bone.

The Chiefs should sign Julius Peppers, Antonio Pierce, Joey Porter, L.T., Darren Sproles, Antrel Rolle, Oshiomogho Atogwe, and Thomas Jones. SUPER BOWL!!!

I wonder how much of this has to do with the Denver game at the close of last year. Haley offered to leave Charles in the game so he could get the single-game rushing record, and Charles said "no thanks" (I think he said something about getting it some other time). I didn't like that comment or attitude then, and I wonder if it pissed off Haley as well. If your guy doesn't want to be on the field for every snap and get every record, why start him?

Also, Jamaal Charles, you're f**king killing my fantasy team.

Marge: I think owning the Denver Broncos is pretty good.
Homer: Yeah, yeah.
Marge: Well, explain to me why it isn't.
Homer: [sighs] You just don't understand football, Marge.

It's frustrating. I've been the most vocal supporter of this guy since he was a rookie and all he does is produce.

When Chris Johnson established himself as a major threat, the Titans gave him the ball the next season and he ran for 2,000 yards.

Running backs don't last long. Charles could be washed up in 3 seasons. You never know. You have to use these guys while they're effective.

Oh, I absolutely agree with you, and I was one of the people that wasn't in the Charles bandwagon, and was one of his big critics.

But the guy have produced, without question. So why is it hard for the guys at 1 Arrowhead Dr. to figure that out?

I have him in fantasy as well. He did fine for week 1, but week 2 just sucked. I also had Michael Turner, and right when he was on the verge of a monster game, he goes out with a groin injury. Posted Image I know if I bench Charles for Bradshaw or something, he'll explode for 30.
