Exactly...This guys leadership in the locker room alone would be worth signing him. Plus, he's a legend in KC. One that never should have left in the first place. Thanks a lot, Carl...you f**king Nazi.

Huh?
He's still one of the best blocking fullbacks in the game today.
I don't lament the loss of many players, nor do I care if any ever find their way back.
T-Rich is the exception.
He's the one guy that really believe should never have been let go, and he's the one guy that I believe still has more than enough left to bring him back.

Thinking beyond this season is exactly why you do bring in a guy like T Rich. No fullback (by the modern definition, so Larry Csonka doesn't count) gets their team to the Super Bowl. The overwhelming majority of them are expendable. KC is lucky to have two decent, albeit not transcendent, FBs. If one of them were to be cut, (1) it wouldn't be the end of the world, and (2) they'd probably still be a free agent in a year, meaning they could be resigned at any time. With that in mind, why keep both young guys when you can keep one of them and also bring in a guy that can mentor Charles and Battle? (Remember that LJ had a two year arrest-free period there while he was actually listening to Tony. Oh, and Adrian Peterson turned out okay too.)

Oh I agree in not letting him go in the first place, I just think at 15 years in the league he's not what he used to be. I just don't see him being the fullback he once was. I'm not saying Cox or Castille are any better by any means, just dont think adding T-Rich is much of answer at all to that position. Would rather draft one next year.

Why?
I'm sorry, but to win we're gonna have to run and Tony doing the hitting and intimidating while our deep and versatile backfield wears guys out can go a long way to helping our offense put up points.
Plus, it's beneficial to whichever FB stays on the roster. Both are young and still learning. Even if it's one season, it's worth it.

all this talk about the Jets and mark my words- they'll be around 8-8. TJ, Coles, T-Rich...all leaders on that team and all gone. Greene is a good back but still young and LT? lmao. Solid D but don't buy the hype!

I'll bet you predicted them to win the division with a rookie QB last season didn't you?
