So my girlfriend and I were at the game last night. We were standing up because ya know, thats what you do at games, and this old dikey(sp?) looking bitch proceeds to grab my girlfriends bra strap and told her to sit down because the people behind us couldnt see. Then her whales of friends (who were probably the most annoying people I've ever been around) thought they needed to sing every song that played and bounce their fat asses all around there seats. Hell one couldnt even sit all the way back in her seat.

Sorry just venting

Hey one time I had a lady in front of me ask me to quit making so much noise, end zone seats ball at our end zone and we were on defense. I told her "this is Arrowhead the loudest stadium in then NFL, you want quite go to Dallas to watch a game." Needless to say I got louder as did everyone else sitting around us.

if the fat ass women are too lazy to stand up its their own damn problem. I'd say, especially if everyone else around them is standing up then they should follow suit or not bitch! That's also why there are two giant ass video boards on each side of the stadium! If you can't understand how to be a fan when your at a game then please give your tickets to someone who will be overly loud for their team cause that's what Arrowhead needs.

Does anybody think that it would be better if when we are on Defense if we got loud when they are calling the play in the huddle and not as the other team has got in their stance that we might keep some teams even more unfocused? and maybe its because the team has lost so much people have forgotten that but I remember back in the day when one reason Arrowhead was the loudest stadium in all the nfl was because you couldn't get us to shut up for anything! That's what I want! As long as we are on defense and there isn't a time out then I want people yelling their f'ing head off! Think of it....it always seems to get to Rivers about once a game at Arrowhead anyway, I'd love to force them to use up time outs just cause they don't know what the f**k is going on in the stadium!

It would probably be hard to get going but man...if it ever did.....

All I know is at the MNF game I won't shut up or sit down for anyone until security drags me out (bring it on, Warthog!). If you want to watch the game quietly while sitting down, stay the f**k home!

We've had an older guy tell us to sit down before. We ignored him. It's Arrowhead, deal with it.

It's the last Pre Season game, the crowd is different. This game everyone gives away their tickets to their worst friends. These 'dykes' have probably never been to a game and don't know how to act. Besides they were probably trying to get your girlfriends bra off anyways.

The thing about the Monday night game is this: The lot will open before the Royals game...that gives fans until 9pm to tailgate and for most that means drinking. I know I at least speak for myself when I say that I will be belligerent and loud as hell by the time that game starts, and I dare anyone to tell me to sit down and shut up. I am not flying half way across the country to sit down during a Chiefs game.

That place will be LOUD. And the whole US will once again see, on national television, why they call us the loudest fans in the NFL.

I've run into that multiple times in the past few years - lower level, nice seats close to the field and people expect to sit throughout the game. Drives me crazy. Yeah, I'm going to stand up, scream and beat on your seat. Get over it, we're watching football not ballet.

Last year the game before my surgery I brought my Aunt and uncle to their first Chiefs game. (They are Packer fans) They live in Denver and have been to many games there. They were very annoyed that everyone kept gettin up and they couldnt see. I expalined it to them but they sure didnt like it, nor did they really understand it. I got the ol "Why pay these prices for tickets to stand up all day?" question.

I said cause this is Arrowhead. They thanked me for the experiance but said they aint doing that again.

I noticed it changing during the years I was a season ticket holder. When I first got seats in 1990 it was wild and loud and you couldn't control the crowd. Remember the stupid rule they used to have where they would penalize the home team if the crowd was too loud? That was because of Arrowhead.

As the ticket prices went up, the rowdier fans started to disappear, including eventually myself. Not meaning to cut down the rich, well maybe a little, but they are not as rowdy and loud as the average Joes were. And they expect to sit, not stand, during the game.

That's your difference in a nutshell. Thanks King Carl.

warthog, I think you hit it on the head there. Pushing out the blue collar fans has changed the atmosphere. That isn't to say that we can't be loud -- but I do run into those that get upset about standing/screaming/etc pretty frequently. I've tried to be nice about it - and I'd be more than willing to trade seats if it'd make a difference for a kid that can't see, someone who can't stand... whatever it may be... but generally these are just cranky, fair weather fans that are too lazy to put any effort into rooting for their team. I'm not horribly sympathetic to their cause. ;)

Look...If it's 1st and ten and we have the ball...sure I'll sit down. It's the people who get pissed when I stand up when we're on defense and it's 3rd and 4. News flash, idiot, the entire stadium is standing up but you. Watch the jumbotron and drink you ensure. Also, don't forget to head up to the bathroom and check your depends every now and then. It's as simple as this...If you don't want to stand up, then stay the f**k home and give your tickets to someone who does. You'll be more comfortable on your couch and the team will benefit more by having fans at the game who actually DO give a shit about the team.

If I do ever have the honor of attending a Chiefs games in Kansas City you can bet your jolly rear end I will be standing and screaming. I hate fans like that, my Uncles took me to Three Rivers to see the Steelers one year and their was no sitting there.

The part that really bothers me are the idiots that are standing and screaming when our offense has the ball. I cannot tell you how many times I have had to explain why we get loud on D a shut up on Offens.

Your exactly right, and it's amazing when it works perfectly how a game can go from extremely loud to dead silence.

With the prices of tickets, concessions, parking, etc. you get fans who maybe attend one game a year and therefore have no idea what to do. To them it is just a big social event---just check out club level and see how many are standing (hint--don't have to use many fingers for that answer). Heck, even my 81 year old father with two bad knees has no problem getting up when need be.
