You're using Copper on the team as the excuse now?

I'm just wondering why NOLA is waiting until Monday. But I have to agree about Copper.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong. And I'm sure some of you will tell me I am. But I'm not. Peace out, y'all!!

For the most part, this all looks fine to me. Copper making this team as a special teamer is of no concern to me if we have 6 wideouts on the roster and Horne makes it, although Quinten Lawrence is probably a better receiver than Copper. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see us keep 2 FBs so both Castille and Cox make the team, but I don't know what position would have one less guy.

It'd mark the end of the DaJuan Morgan era, but that's unfortunately no surprise. I also think Palko will be scrapped for another team's waiver wire QB, or at least that's what I would do.

I'm with AKB about Lawrence. I'd also like to see us keep both FBs, but I don't know where else to cut. I too, think Palko will be gone if there's a halfway decent QB out there.
Have Sheffield and Leggett returned to practice? I don't think we could place them on the PUP list and I sure hate to see them on IR. However, those are roster spots that could be used if their injuries are long term.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong. And I'm sure some of you will tell me I am. But I'm not. Peace out, y'all!!

You sure we will keep two Fullbacks? We have had Derek Lokey in there as Fullback a lot during goal line stances! We may only keep one and then have Lokey as the 2nd but I could be wrong, I just know he would fill two spots since he also plays Defensive End.

Also remember that unless picked up by another team a lot of these guys will probably make the practice squad.

I don't think either one of our present FBs could be added to the PS due to their time of service. But you're correct about Lokey.. Both Tim and Mike have qualities I'd like to retain on the roster. Where's T-Rich when you ned him!!!

Just my opinion, I could be wrong. And I'm sure some of you will tell me I am. But I'm not. Peace out, y'all!!

No, I'm not sure we'll keep 2 FBs. It's just a possibility.

They're just trying Lokey out as a backup FB anyway, and really he didn't touch anyone on Battle's TD run. It's all a part of seeing who are the most flexible guys for the active roster. If he could come in on a goal line situation if Castille's knocked out of the game, then that makes him more valuable on game day. If Castille gets hurt for an extended period, they better have Mike Cox on speed dial.

Really, Cox is a good special teams player, and that's part of why I think he might make the roster. Really, he might make it at the expense of Copper, essentially as a special teams specialist.

Our depth at RB as a whole is pretty nice. Including Charles, Jones, Battle, and McCluster, we're more or less 4 deep at RB, 5 deep if you count Castille who is a decent runner and receiver out of the backfield when need be.

I think you're right. If either of them are still practice squad eligible, it'd be Castille, and he seems to be the starter, so I doubt they shove him on the PS even if they could. That's part of why I think they both might end up on the roster.

As long as there's little time left, we have a big lead, and are grinding clock... I'm with you.

You know if they hand him that ball when the game can tilt on one play... something horrible will happen.
