Believe it. The Missouri Valley Conference is one of the most under-rated conferences in basketball.

Yeah, that was great wasn't it? I was eating dinner in a Lenexa restaurant when the game ended. It was like a morgue in there, except at our table full of Mizzou fans and another table with K Staters.

My name is Maximus Decimus Warthog, member of HomeoftheChiefs.com, former season ticket holder of the lower level , loyal servant to the true coach, Martimus Schottenheimer. Father to disenfranchised sons, husband to a non football fanatic wife, and I will see my Chiefs in a Super Bowl, in this life or the next.

I think its funny that about 75% of the "Bracketteers" just saw their champions get thrown out the window. Better luck next year.

Thank god I picked Kentucky to win it all.

Me too. :az:
In one bracket, I've got both Syracuse and Puke going down, today. I did have Kansas getting beat by Mich. St, in Sweet 16, but....:jester:.......I'm loving it. :dancing:

Not really. They don't have 4 teams in, like 2 years ago, but The Valley is noted for having goood teams, that routinely burst the bubbles of the 'big boys'.Their teams aren't sneeking up on anyone anymore....I was more surprised this was the first time in 31 years a Valley team, has made the Sweet 16.

Thats a false stat though. Harlan got roasted on the Bears forum for saying that.

2010: UNI (16)
2007: SIU (16)
2006: bradley(16), wichita (16)
2002: SIU(16),
1999: MSU (16)

In the last 11 years the Valley has 6 teams getting to the sweet 16. Which is pretty impressive because we never really get very high seedings. If the Valley can beef up their SOS as a conference they will move back up to at least 2 bids a year.

What happened to all of our KU fans on here? We used to have a ton and I haven't seen any lately.

I remember Harlan saying that,is why I posted it earlier, but then started thinking, you dumbass, you know SIU went a couple years ago, and then earlier with Bruce Weber. Valley teams are seldom an easy out

I'm just kidding. If those 4 teams actually made the final four I'd shit myself.

I still have 3 of my final four remaining. I'm fine with that, but because my bracket is phucked I'm cheering on the small guys
