Tony Grossi, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports Cleveland Browns QB Brady Quinn could be released or traded after the team acquired QB Seneca Wallace in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks. If Quinn stays, it's doubtful he will be able to learn team president Mike Holmgren's system in one offseason and beat out Wallace for the starting quarterback job.

Tony Grossi, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports Cleveland Browns QB Derek Anderson will likely be released in the next week or two, if he is not traded, after the team acquired QB Seneca Wallace from the Seattle Seahawks.

This uncapped season is a good chance for teams that have made stupid decisions to hit the reset button on player contracts. So, teams have been cleaning house when it comes to high-priced, under-producing players. It's great that these guys become unrestricted free agents and all, but then there's that under-producing part...

However, if Quinn got cut, I'm pretty sure we'd take a pretty hard look.

I really don't want Quinn. We can look all we want but I hope to god we don't sign him.

Well there is the same connection there with Weiss that exists with Claussen. I would peg the chances at high if he does hit the open market. I don't think anyone else is inviting him for a starting job. I mean, where else do you go after getting cut by the Browns?
