dude this was great. Dan "Hendo" Henderson comes out and shuts up UK man Michael "The Count" Bisping with an unbelievable knock out and Brock shows his unmatched power.... I cannot wait for the day that UFC goes mainstream onto ESPN

Good card. Glad things lived up. Belcher was robbed imo. But thats what happens when you leave the fight to the judges. I loved what dan was able to show. He hasnt really had a chance to show newer fans that deadly punch. I knew from the start of the fight thats how he was going to win. For bis to keep going towards dans power was shocking me. Glad to see him get knocked out. GSP is a true MMA. I just hope he can keep himself in check. Brock is the man. Im a big fan but a huge critic of his. He is still getting by just on his size and strength alone. Which might be enough. He needs to get better on standup. Also he needs to GREATLY devlope his ground game. He seems to not be able to get out of someones guard. or at least gets to half guard. He needs to learn to at least get into side control which might actually be the best spot for him. I'd like to see him get in the mount but with that huge upper body he might not be able to keep center.

There was rumors about the winner of the heavy weight fight (Brock) getting to fight arguably the best Pound for Pound fighter in the world Fedor emelianenko in a 1 fight contract with Fedor. I don't know how Dana White would feel about that, because he is very strict on contracts not ending when the fighter currently owns the belt. I think last night was a huge step towards main stream sports.

I was going to post KO of the night anyways. The Lesnar fight was pretty much ground and pound, and Mir didn't get much off at all

It was a great pay per view. The Hendo destruction of that mouthy wanker Bisping was worth the $55 price(Directv charges 54.99 for HD). That last cinder block to the face was for all of us that had to suffer through this seasons ultimate fighter and watch bisping act like an immature spoiled little child. Hendo is one of the most laid back guys there is, so if he is annoyed, you know Bisping is a douche.....

I have said it before and I will say it again, when focused GSP is the best pound for pound in the sport. I hope the UFC works something out and gets him and Anderson Silva in the octagon together at 185.

I think Brock is a douche bag. He is still in WWE mode with his busch league antics. If Dana can get Fedor "The Last Emporer" Emelianenko over to the UFC Brock will be exposed for what he is, a physical freak with no technique or intelligence.

BTW flux, I can't believe one judge scored it 30-27 for Akiyama. I thought it was a really close fight with good exchanges.

This was the only fight I lost. I thought Bisping was going to do much better, but how bout Dan Henderson? This was a good win for him. Very happy I was wrong about this fight. Good showing by Henderson.

I agree flux. The good news is that the entire first round was a wrestling match that Brock clearly won mostly on just strength. I new this was going to happen. I told everyone that Brock would dominate this fight. Which is exactly what he did.

WOW, that would be sweet. I SAY Fedor. Fedor would kill Brock, even at his age. He would destroy him I think.

Ya know that was BAD FORM from Brock after the fight. He threw some salt on it. I was just laughing, so I didnt take it too seriously, but ya. Brock is a douche. GSP is the best fighter in the sport, and I would pay $100 dollars to see GSP fight Anderson Spider Silva. If they were smart, they would make this fight happen, I have been saying it for a while now.

I dont want to see the Brock vs Fedor fight for 2 years. I'm a huge Brock fan but he would get owned by Fedor. Brock strickly uses his size and strength with his wrestling base, and that will probably work for who's in the ufc now, minus Antonio Nogueira. For some reason I think Nogueira could catch Brock. Back to Fedor, he has had to fight guys much bigger and maybe stronger, yet his skill set in everything is so quick. Im not overly impressed by anything Fedor does except the fact that he like doesnt think, just reacts, fast and normally its a correct reaction. In two years, if Brock hasnt progressed his other skills then he is a lame duck and probably needs to quit.

Not the greatest fights tonight, I lost my respect for Griffin though.

Also for those who didnt get to watch BJ Penn keeps his belt winning with a rear naked choke in the 4th Round

Yea we had a get together at my house last night. I was rather dissapointed.

I really wanted Griffin to win but Knew he wouldnt...... but come on!!!!! He got completly embarrased. And to just run out like that.... WOW is all I can say lol.

Penn really proved his dominance IMO. I was going for Florian but the better fighter clearly won, IMO.
