It's not about the Zone defense this year. It's not about the Chiefs giving up 500 yards again. It's not about how bad they have drafted, and it's not about how many pro bowlers the Steelers have, and the Chiefs don't...
It's about the SIGNATURE GAME at Arrowhead stadium in 2009. And you missed it. And your week 11 review from Wichita,
needs a little mustard on the Hot dog....
Just sayin..

How about giving a little cudos to Cassel leading this team to a win? The defense put us in the situation to win and Cassel delivered. Haley decided to open up a little and allow the passing game to open up. Clancy decided to take the leash off and released the hounds and it worked. I think this team discovered more about themselves than just a LB and RB.

The Chiefs should sign Julius Peppers, Antonio Pierce, Joey Porter, L.T., Darren Sproles, Antrel Rolle, Oshiomogho Atogwe, and Thomas Jones. SUPER BOWL!!!

Your dislike of Cassel is comical now. You rant about how poor the o-line and receiving corps are in one breathe then rail on Cassel for not being able to complete deep passes a min later.(Could the time he is giving and the talent of the receivers have anything to do with that?) I have to admit I am not completely sold on him, but how can you fully judge him with the shoddy talent around him?

I actually like our receiver corps outside of Bradley. Bowe, Chambers, Long, and Wade make up a very capable group of players that can make plays for this team. I think it has more to do with the play calling, gawd awful oline, and lack of running game that makes life miserable for Cassel. Seems like we stay in a shell through the first three quarters than come the fourth suddenly we are taking shots down field(with success). I would like to see more WR screens used and once we have a line screens to Charles. Would also be nice to have a TE worth using in the passing game to open up things more for our receivers. In the long run I like our offense after adding a few linemen, a bruising RB, a TE, and one more WR.

Yeah, the WR corp is shaping out ok right now. But I am talking about more towards beginning the season. We didn't even have Chambers, Wade, or Long.....
I actually like what Pope has been doing at TE. He is so gifted athletically has excellent size, which you can't teach. I think with more work and as he gains confidence here, he could be a great fit.

Barry, this moronic little fake turf war you've been trying to create is the absolute epitome of dumbassery. I thought it was a dumb idea when you told me you were going to do it a couple of months ago, but it's far, far dumber than I ever possibly could have imagined. Just stop. You're embarrassing yourself.

Yeah I'm starting to think Cassel stole nK's woman or something
I haven't seen Cassel much this year but I remember bitching about him underthrowing the short-medium passes and over throwing the deep ones his 1st few games last year. I finally figured it was mostly due to him being overly cautious. I think he got it drilled in him (maybe too much ) to not turn it over, that's how it seemed anyway. He rarely gets picked on those ( or didn't last year anyway) over or under throws. When he just let's it rip he's much more accurate. I still say he has the potential to be pretty good when the line gets a bit better.
I think nK just has very high expectations for a guy that has a well below avg o-line and a revolving door at WR. You're literally starting 2 WRs right off the street lol. Not to mention changing the offense right before the season...
Everybody wants a Manning or a Brady but it doesn't work like that. Sometimes you have to settle for 'pretty good'. Hell even 'pretty good' is hard to find

I fail to see how this is a controversial argument. When he posts better stats, I'll be less critical.

I would love to some how compare how many drop passes for first downs to Cassel just holding on to the ball and not finding his receiver. For that matter Cassel getting no protection and only getting two seconds to find his receiver. For that matter how many third and longs thanks to run plays that go nowhere and flags. How about instead of saying Cassel can't get first downs this TEAM can't get first downs?
