It irks me to see a QB play that poorly. Unless that QB happens to be Jamarcus Russell.

If Tom Cable and the Raiders staff just pounds the rock, keeping the ball out of Russell's hands, they'd have won this game.

Yes, and people on the chat said Cassel was playing worse than Russel when he wasn't playing even close to as bad as Russel.
Then again, nobody AT ALL has mentioned how poorly the receivers played for either team. How many combined drops were there?
20?
Cassel didn't play well I know. I'm not a fan.
Still, I think it's sad you feel so defeated you go on a rant about how much we suck after a win.

I would have to agree with that. Bush looks very good. IIRC, alot of people were laughing at the Raiders for making that pick when Bush was lost for the season due to a broken leg (IIRC if that was his injury) in college, but I was afraid of that pick becuase Bush is really good if healthy.
That showed yesterday. The Chiefs couldn't really stop him. The only thing that stopped him was the Raiders coaching staff.

The Raider fans I know bitch on a regular basis (and have since last season) that Bush does not get more work. He can play.

It is total bummer that we as fans feel so defeated after a rival win in Oakland none the less. Still the football gods smiled on the Dallas Texans yesterday. We played terrible football, but lucky breaks and even worse play from the raiders gave us the win. The int that Brown got came from the receiver throwing the ball up in the air and then having Flowers tip it. Bowe fumbles after a nice gain, but after a couple raiders kick the ball around another ten yards Waters is able to fall on top of it(good thing he lost all that weight so he could run up field). Cassel cant handle hand offs( I mean seriously thats high school shit right there). Drop balls and penalties galore in this game. Finally as a broken record our oline still sucks and cant hold their blocks. Damn Im depressed.

The Chiefs should sign Julius Peppers, Antonio Pierce, Joey Porter, L.T., Darren Sproles, Antrel Rolle, Oshiomogho Atogwe, and Thomas Jones. SUPER BOWL!!!

f**k that!
I have the rest of the season to feel depressed. We beat the Raiders in Oakland. We got a long way to go but goddammit I'm gonna enjoy this short fleeting moment of success. I get so few opportunities to see the chiefs win, regardless of how it's done.
I'm not looking forward to the next game... because... you know.

Dont get me wrong Im happy we got our revenge. It was rather entertaining at the bar sitting next to group of guys consisting of four Chief's fans, a raiders fan, and a bears fan. Charles had a really good game, and we actually made plays here and there. What I liked most about the game was Haley was busy on that sideline either giving praise or criticism all game long. Nice change from a coach just standing there with a far away stare on his face biting on his upper lip.

I'm actually quite pleased that we won. That doesn't mean I'm going to stop being critical of shitty play, especially at QB.
