The season is more than two weeks long. The season is more than two weeks long. The season is more than two weeks long.

As I said somewhere else earlier nobody is playing their best football yet. The defending champs needed OT last week to beat a Titans team that is now 0-2, and they (Steelers) lost today to the Bears who looked awful in week 1. The Chargers got lucky to beat the Raiders and then they lose to the Ravens...The Ravens are 2-0 but have given up tons of yards and more points than they want to....they don't want to play in shootouts all year I assure you. My team is lucky to be 1-1...Before I hear about the Jets (who have looked impressive) not to make excuses but it was a close, hard fought, penalty ridden game and the Pats were without Welker and their stud MLB. The Jets D is legit but the Pats also shot themselves in the foot many times. They took back to back delays coming out of a time out (never seen that before) that killed a drive...Moss half assed a route that lead to an INT...A. Thomas dropped an easy pop up type INT that would have given the Pats the ball at about the Jets 10...But I'm getting off track...The point is, it's week 2. A lot of teams have plenty of room for improvement yet.

The season is more than 2 weeks long :coffee:

I agree, but I also think it speaks to the parity in the NFL. Each year we see teams move in and out of playoff contention. It's getting where it almost impossible to know who the good teams are until past the bye weeks. The f**kin Donkey's and 49ers are 2-0, leading their divisions. The Bengals beat down the Packers in Green Bay? What the hell?

Yep, I could have kept going but I only mentioned most of the supposed SB 'contenders'. I left off the Colts who squeeked out a 2 point win against a pretty bad Jags team. And I picked the Vikes in my survivor pool and they were losing to Detroit most of the 1st half :jester:

crazy year already and it's just starting!
