Homer: [reading] "Project Arcturus couldn't have succeeded without you. This will get you a little closer to that dream of yours. It's not the Dallas Cowboys, but it's a start. Drop me a line if you're on the East Coast, Hank Scorpio." Aw, the Denver Broncos!
Marge: I think owning the Denver Broncos is pretty good.
Homer: Yeah, yeah.
Marge: Well, explain to me why it isn't.
Homer: [sighs] You just don't understand football, Marge.

Read the last line about the running backs and it will make sense.

I had an epic meltdown on the planet when it became abundantly clear that the only waiver wire addition that this team made was Ryan O'Callaghan.
A team as devoid of talent on the right side and at center only saw one freakin' player on the waiver wire that could come in and compete with the absolute garbage that makes up the line from center-right?
Really?

I'm not sure how the waiver process works but I would think once you claim someone you go to the end of line....I don't think KC (or Det) can just claim everybody lol.

Actually, I don't think that you go to the end of the line and KC and Detroit could just claim everybody. But once you pass on a player, you can't change your mind.

I'm not sure either, but I know that the Browns were awarded four players in the waiver claim process.

I found the official rules but nothing about going to the end of the line once you make a claim or anything outside of 'Worst record gets priority'.
Bad teams just get priority. They can't claim everybody because teams have limited roster room, but the system is designed to give bad teams an advantage.

So Pioli/Haley are ruining Herm's ultimate plan. Be bad enough you can claim everyone elses castoff on the waiver wire. That way Herm would not have had to pull 22 people from the street this year.
