OK, I'm going to say something stupid here and totally against my nature. No matter what happens, both KU and Mizzou far exceeded their expectations and had great years. No one predicted KU would make it back to the sweet sixteen and most predicted Mizzou would struggle to even make the tournament. Good showing by the old Big 8 teams. The south can suck it (talking about Texas schools).

Yeah it was a very good year for the Big 12 a few seconds away from having 3 Big 12's in te elite 8.... no dissapointment there

Kansas trails Cornell 41-38 at halftime. I don't know what's worse KU trailing to Cornell at half or Missouri leading Savannah State 28-25 at half. Once again, Mizzou playing down to it's competition.

Wow, KU loses their first game and it was to a depleted Tennessee team.
