wow..... tough loss tonight. Bears were playing the Shockers and got down by as much as 25 POINTS. Bears picked up their play and went on a 24-3 run and cut the lead to 1. Ultimately the Bears couldn't hit free throws at the end and lost by 3 points. Great win for Wichita State. Bears move to 12-3(2-2) and play Bradley on Saturday.

beat Indiana State to move to 14-5 (4-4) in the conference. Hit a road skid the last 2 games, but came back tonight scoring 99 points in 45 minutes of action.

Huge game @ Creighton tonight on ESPNU (7 p.m.) We will most likely lose this one, but hopefully the boys show up and play with some intensity

BIGGEST GAME OF THE YEAR. We have #25UNI coming to Springfield to take on the Bears at 2:05. This game could go either way. I will be front row cheering them on. Need this game to draw a decent bracket busters match up

Bears pull Nevada for Bracketbusters game. This is great news as we will get a return game nex year. Having a team like Nevada on your schedue resume nex season will only be good

Bears on the road tonight In Carbondale to take on the Salukis. Must win for both teams, as loser is likely in the play in game (bottom 4 teams of the conference)

Bears 17-8 (7-7) are on a 2 game winning streak. Take it into Wichita Sunday night for probably the hardest game of the year so far. The shockers have a 12 game winning streak at home and have torn some teams up there.

Bears played hell of a game on Saturday. They beat the Neavda Wolfpack 62-60 on ESPN2. Nevada has sophmore Luke Babbit that WILL be a NBA player sometime. He has a pretty smooth shot, but we got in his head in the 2nd half. We are 14-2 at home this year and play senior night on Wednesday against Drake. I hope we can get on a roll for a run in the conference tourney but it is likely that we make either the NIT or the CBI tourney. If we get in the CBI it is very likely we get another home game.

I will try to post some pics of Saturdays game in a bit.
