Opening up the Missouri Valley Conference tournament today Bears are playing the Purple Aces.

Drake beats Southern Illinois by 2 earlier today, they will face Northern Iowa tomorrow @ noon

We play our conference rival on Wednesday in the CIT semis. Winner will play either pacific or Appalacian State in the championship next Tuesday. Good for our guys to be getting extra experience

We finish the year 24-12 and bring back all but 1 player next season

First exhibition game is today, bring back a whole squad have a little issue at depth in certain spots but should still be solid. Men are projected to finish 2nd in the conference behind Wichita State and the Lady Bears are projected to win their conference.

IMO both the Men and Ladies will make the big dance. They still have to win the games on the court, but come March Missouri State will still be playing

Bears have won 8 games in a row at home and will take on Oral Robers tonight.

Bears win pretty easily to open up the season. Move to 1-0 and will play their next match against Arkansas State in Knoxville Tennessee. Win that game and they will play Tennessee in the preseason NIT.

Beat Arkansas State tonight 81-71

Will play #24 Tennessee Wednesday night at 6:00 PM. Huge game for the bears, but we will be playing in Knoxville. Should be a tough but good game.

Coming off of tough losses to #24 Tennessee (by 4) and to Tulsa the Bears came home and won the last 2 games (Monday, Pepperdine and tonight, Pacific)

You can't feel too bad. OK State's pretty good, IMO,that's why they're 9-1. Judging by the box score, most of the game was closer than that, they just went on a 15-6 run to pull away at the end.

The real issue is two of your starters (G Adam Leonard, G Jermaine Mallet) combined for 5/19 from the field and you got almost no help from the bench. The other 3 starters were all shooting over 50% and the team shot over 80% from the line.

Games will get out of hand a little when you get out shot and out rebounded, but this game was much closer than it appeared.
