what i wanna know is why the hell meche was pulled...he only allowed one run and was getting stronger...he was only at 91 pitches i believe

Even dumber than that was why wasn't Cruz put in instead of Farnsworth and why would they let the rightie Farnsworth, who gives up a lot of home runs, face the lefty Thome, who hits a lot of home runs, instead of bringing the leftie Mahay in to face him. We get that one out and then Soria and then a win.

Actually Ponson did what he was supposed to do, keep the other team under 5 runs. It's just that our batting sucks so bad that we couldn't hit our way out of a wet paper sack.

Chill out folks. Its 5 games into the season. Lol. 157 left to go. Our hitting well gel. Give it some time. We've been facing some really good pitching.

It's a marathon, not a sprint. That's why there is 162 games in a season. You play them one game at a time. It's a long season.

The pitching staff is very promising. Meche, Greinke, and Davies all have looked great so far. I was especially impressed with Davies. Fatass Colon and Ramirez are going to be our weak spots. I would much rather be seeing Hochevar and Bannister struggling in the 4th and 5th spot than these two. At least we know what we've got in Banny and Hoche.

Final note, Bannister gave up 5 runs, 9 hits in 4 innings. Hochevar went 1 ER, 7 hits in 6 innings.

Greinke has another solid outing and keeps his ERA at 0.00

Right now it's 4-0 Royals
Bottom of the 6th
